Proposed Itinerary*

 
 

Thursday, September 4     Gather for departure for our overnight flight to France.  Dinner and movie on board.

Friday, September 5         After breakfast on board, we arrive in Paris, go through Passport Control, collect luggage and meet Tour Escort who will take you to 140 Rue du Bac, to visit the Daughters of Charity Covent and celebrate Mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. Afterwards, enjoy a lunch break at the wonderful shop on the corner and then proceed to the Church of St. Vincent du Paul to visit his tomb. Discover some of the city as we proceed to our hotel. Check in, rest and dinner.

Saturday, September 6     After breakfast, walk up the hill to Sacre Coeur to celebrate Mass. Have time for private devotions before we meet our guide and enjoy a tour of Paris to see the Champs Elysee, the Place de la Concorde, the Eiffel Tower and ending at Notre Dame Cathedral. Some free time to wander before the bus takes us back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Sunday, September 7     After breakfast, enjoy a FREE DAY IN PARIS.  Our day trip to Lisieux. has become an option by train because of the excessive fuel prices for the bus.  We’ll celebrate Mass in Paris before dinner and overnight.

Monday, September 8    After breakfast, depart Paris and drive south to Nevers and the Convent of St. Gildard. Have a tour of the gardens that St. Bernadette loved so much, and celebrate Mass in the chapel where her incorrupt body lies.  Time for personal reflections before   for dinner and overnight.

Tuesday, September 9        After Mass,  depart for Lourdes. Check into our hotel, have dinner and join pilgrims from around the world in the International Rosary Procession.

Wednesday, September 10        Celebrate Mass in front of the Grotto where the Virgin spoke to St. Bernadette, then have time to visit the Rosary Chapel and the Basilica before lunch. Meet our guide who will take us on a walking tour of the Underground Basilica, the Museum, Boly Mill and the Cachout.   After dinner, join pilgrims for the International Rosary Procession.

Thursday, September 11         After breakfast, celebrate Mass and then have a FREE DAY  for reflection, The Baths and the Stations of the Cross. After dinner, join pilgrims for the International Rosary Procession.

Friday, September 12              After breakfast, celebrate Mass and then depart by train for Paris. Transfer to our hotel and enjoy our farewell dinner and overnight.

Saturday, September 13         Celebrate Mass before we depart for the airport and our flight home with memories to Give Thanks and Remember.

A deposit of $450.00 is required to confirm your space.    

This is applied to the total price of the pilgrimage and the balance is to be paid in full no later than June 15, 2008

A copy of the face page of your passport must be submitted with your final payment.
