A VERY SPECIAL TOUR

to  

CHRISTMAS MARKETS OF GERMANY AND AUSTRIA

MONDAY, 28 NOVEMBER

      Arrival in Munich in the morning.  The members of the group will gather at the airport as they arrive and transfer from there to the City Center and enjoy a short guided city tour.  Fresh up  before being introduced to our first Christmas Market very close to our hotel.  Your afternoon is free to wander through the market.  Return to the hotel for formal checkin procedures.  Dinner on your own.

TUESDAY, 29 NOVEMBER

      After our included full breakfast buffet, we depart for Austria.  Driving through the beautiful Bavarian countryside, we arrive in Salzburg in time for a delightful tour of the Sound of Music City.  Free afternoon to visit the many wonderful Christmas stalls which will be set up throughout the market area.  We have a dinner stop at a local village on the return to Munich.

WEDNESDAY, 30 NOVEMBER

     Another scrumptious breakfast and then we're off to Regensburg, the oldest city on the Donau.  We'll have a short city tour and later visit their Christmas Market.  Before returning to Munich, we'll gather in the Hofbrauhaus for our dinner break.

THURSDAY, 1 DECEMBER

     Start with a great breakfast and then we depart for Altotting, visiting the Bavarian countryside and their Christmas Traditions.  Perhaps we'll listen to a Christmas Concert in the village church before returning to Munich and some last minute shopping in the city.   You can join in the fun at the famous Hofbrauhaus for a special farewell dinner if you wish.

FRIDAY, 2 DECEMBER

     After a last wonderful breakfast, we pack up our treasurers and transfer to the airport with many memories to Give Thanks and Remember.
