TUE 1 OCT 19    Depart on United Airlines at 5:20 PM from Washington Dulles Airport. Dinner and a movie onboard!

WED 2 OCT 19    Breakfast on board before our arrival in DUBLIN, Ireland. After Passport Control, meet our local drive/guide. Travel into county Wicklow to Glendalough for an audiovisual presentation and a tour of the site.  This early Christian ecclesiastical settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Set in a glaciated valley with two lakes, the monastic remains include a superb round tower, stone churches and decorated crosses.  We’ll continue to the city of KILKENNEY. and check into our city center hotel with some time to relax before dinner. THR 3 OCT 19   After a full Irish breakfast, we depart for the Rock of Cashel, a spectacular group of Medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral. Return to Kilkenny for a visit to the Smithwicks Brewery. The brewery is situated on the site of a Franciscan abbey where monks had brewed ale since the 14th century and has ruins of the original abbey on its grounds. Father will celebrate Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral before we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

FRI 4 OCT 19. After a leisurely breakfast, travel South to County Cork.  Visit Blarney Castle where those energetic enough can climb the 104 steps to kiss the stone located in the battlement and gain “the gift of gab”. We will also have time for some shopping at the famous Blarney Woolen Mills, and maybe lunch in a restaurant or pub on the castle grounds.  Father will celebrate Mass before we continue to the lovely town of Killareny in County Kerry.  Overnight Cahernane Hotel, Killarney (B,D)

SAT 5 OCT 19.  After our Irish breakfast, embark on a tour of the Dingle Peninsula, home to some of Ireland’s most beautiful scenery.  Journey along the spectacular “Slea Head” enjoying dramatic coastal scenery along the way.  Stop at the Blasket Center in DunChaoin on the tip of the Dingle Peninsula right on the spot that “Far and Away” was filmed.  The center celebrates the story of the Blasket Islanders.  Father will celebrate Mass and we’ll return to Killarney for dinner and overnight.  (B,D)

SUN 6 OCT 19.   After breakfast, we leave Killarmey behind and travel North to see the Cliffs of Moher.  Drive along the west coast with a break in Doolin and Kinvara. Continue through The Burren, an area of limestone rock covering imposing majestic mountains and tranquil valleys.  With its innate sense of spiritual peace,  extraordinary array of flora and wildlife, the Burren’s, creates a tapestry of color and seductively magical aura.  Check into our city center hotel in late afternoon.  This evening is free to explore Galway city on your own.  Overnight Park House Hotel, Galway (B)

MON 7 OCT 19.  After breakfast, drive west into the wild and wonderful area known as Connemara.  Visit Kylemore Abbey with its beautiful gothic chapel and walled gardens before we take a cruise from Killary Harbor to Ireland’s only Fjord, Continue to St.Patrick Mountain and walk up to the Statue of the Saint. Overnight Hotel Westport, Westport. (B,D)

TUE 8 OCT 19. After breakfast, we’ll have a tour of the grounds of the Shrine of Knock and learn more about the wonderful apparitions there.  Father will celebrate Mass and you’ll have some free time at the Shrine where Our Lady, St.Joseph and St.John the Evangelist appeared at the south gable of Knock Parish Church on 21 August 1979.  After, we’ll visit Ballintubber Abbey with St.Patrick’s Well where the Saint’s knee imprint is said to be where he knelt to baptize the faithful. Return to our hotel.   (B,D)

WED 9 OCT 19. After breakfast, we’ll stop at Clonmacnoise an early Christian site founded by St.Claran in the mid-6th century on the bans of the River Shannon.  The long history at Clonmacnoise is recounted in an audiovisual presentation shown in the visitor center.  Arrive in Dublin in late afternoon to our hotel in city center.  The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city on your own.  Overnight Camden Court Hotel (B)

THR 10 OCT 19. After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic city tour where you’ll see elegant Georgia square and houses, buildings of historical importance including The Bank of Ireland at College Green and Dublin Castle as well as the statue of Molly Malone on Grafton Street. Visit St.Patrick’s Cathedral before we stop at Jameson Distillery for a guided tour which includes stories, craic, a comparative whiskey tasting and of course, a complimentary Jameson in the exact spot where it all began.  This evening is free to explore the city on your own! FRI 11 OCT 19.  After breakfast, we transfer to Dublin Airport and leave the Emerald Isle with memories to Give Thanks and Remember.

A deposit of $500.00 is required to confirm your space.    This is applied to the total price of the pilgrimage and your balance must be paid in full no later than

June 1, 2019.

A copy of the face page of your passport must be submitted with your deposit.

   Cancellations MUST be made in writing and refunds are subject to the following charges:

• More than 90 days prior to departure – $350 pp.

• Between 60-90 days prior to departure: 25% of tour

• Between 45-59 days prior to departure: 50% of tour

• Between 31-44 days prior to departure: 75% of tour

• Less than 30 days to departure: 100%
