This is the last year that Heidi will coordinate and lead pilgrimages.

Sun, Feb 5 – Depart from Washington, DC on Continental Airlines

Mon, Feb 6 – After breakfast on the plane, arrive in Tel Aviv and be met by our guide. Drive along the coast towards Haifa and Mount Carmel. After checking into our hotel, time for Father to celebrate Mass before dinner and rest for the evening.

Tue, Feb 7 – After breakfast, a day around the Sea of Galilee, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, boat ride and more. Father will celebrate Mass on Mount Tabor (site of Transfiguration) and later we’ll go to the Jordan River to Renew you Baptism. Check into our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

Wed, Feb 8 – Nazareth! Celebrate at the Grotto of the Annunciation, visit St Joseph’s, Mary’s Well and enjoy a mid-East lunch (included). In the afternoon, we’ll drive down to Renew of Wedding Vows in Cana before returning to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

Thur, Feb 9 – After breakfast, time to depart the Galilee. Drive south along the Jordan Rift to Jericho to see Mt. Of Temptations. Father will celebrate Mass before we continue to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Have time to “float” in the Dead Sea before we drive up to Jerusalem and check into out hotel for dinner and overnight.

Fri, Feb 10 – Jerusalem! The Mount of Olives Visit to Ascension Mosque, Domus Flevit where Jesus’ wept over the city, Gethesamane. Continue to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. Father will celebrate Mass in a cave in Shepherd’s Field. Have time to shop before we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Sat, Feb 11 – After breakfast, drive to Ein Karim to visit the birthplace of Saint John the Baptist before we climb to the Church of the Visitation where Father will celebrate Mass. After continue to Yad Vashem to visit the Holocaust Memorial. After lunch, visit the Israeli Museum and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept, and see a 1/50th scale model of Jerusalem at the time of Christ. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Sun, Feb 12 – After breakfast, we’ll walk to the Upper Room and Father will celebrate Mass in the Cenacle. After lunch we enter the Old City through the Eve of the Needle Gate and Carry a cross on the Via Dolorosa to the Holy Sepulchure. Time for personal prayer before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Mon, Feb 13 – After breakfast, walk throughout the Old City to visit to the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, the Pools of Bethesda and Saint Anne’s. Our bus picks us up and we drive to Saint Peter in Gallicantu where Our Lord was held prisoner. Father will celebrate Mass for us. In the afternoon, visit the Upper Room, Dormition Abbey and walk back to the hotel through the Armenian Quarter.

Tue, Feb 14 – Mass at the Tomb of Our Lord in the Holy Sepulchre. Return to the hotel for breakfast. FREE AFTERNOON. Special mid-East farewell dinner.

Wed, Feb 15 – Return home with memories to Give Thanks and Remember.
