MON. 4 Nov 2024 Arrival in Frankfurt at 7:55 AM. Transfer to Lufthansa 692, departure 1:20 PM. Arrive Amman, JORDAN at 6:30 PM. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Amman
TUE. 5 Nov 2024 Hotel breakfast and then depart for the Jordan River to renew our Baptismal Promises and then continue to Madaba to see the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land before visiting Mount Nebo, overlooking the Promised Land and where Father will celebrate Mass. Continue on the King’s Highway the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight on the shores of the Dead Sea.
WED. 6 Nov 2024 After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Petra and experience the wonders with a professional local guide. Learn about this world heritage site of the Nabatean Kingdom from the 4th Century B.C. Depart for dinner and overnight on the shores of the Dead Sea.
THR. 7 Nov 2024 After breakfast at the hotel, depart to visit Jerash (Roman/Greco Decapolis city). Continue north to cross into ISRAEL on the Sheik Hussein Bridge. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
FRI. 8 Nov 2024 After breakfast, cross the street to the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth where Father will celebrate Mass. Walk through the town of Nazareth to see the Synagogue Church and Mary’s Well. Enjoy an included lunch before we drive to the Wedding Town of Cana, where Father will renew the vows for our married couples. Return to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.
SAT. 9 Nov 2024 After breakfast, depart for the Sea of Galilee. We’ll take a boat across to Capenaum and visit the second hometown of Jesus. Visit Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha and the Primacy before enjoying included lunch. Visit the city of Magdala which was recently unearthed to discover an ancient synagogue of the first century. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
SUN. 10 Nov 2024 After breakfast, depart for the Golan Heights and Caesarea Philippi where Jesus asks Peter, “Who do people say I am?”. After a lunch stop, continue Mount Tabor where Father will celebrate Mass in the place where Jesus transfigured to Peter, James and John. Return to Nazareth for dinner.
MON. 11 Nov 2024 After breakfast, depart to drive to Caesarea Maritime, and tour the ancient Roman city by the Mediterranean Sea. Continue to Bethlehem for the included lunch before we tour the oldest Christian church in the world. Have time in one of their famous olive wood shops before checking into our hotel in Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
TUE. 12 Nov 2024 After breakfast, depart for the Western Wall. Every Monday and Thursday, young Jewish boys celebrate their Bar Mitzvah at this special place. After some time to pray at The Wall, we enter into the Temple Mount area to see the gold Dome of the Rock and learn the history of the special place revered by Jews, Moslems and Christians. As we leave, visit the Probatic Pools and the crusader church of St. Anne’s (with perfect acoustics). Stop at the Israeli Museum before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
WED. 13 Nov 2024 After breakfast, start at the top of the Mount of Olives and walk down to the French Carmelite Convent of the Pater Noster, then continue to the Franciscan property of Domus Flevit before coming to Gethsamane. After lunch, visit Peter in Gallicantu and David’s Tomb, the Upper Room on Mount Zion and then walk thru the Armenian Quarter to the Holy Sepulchure. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
THR. 14 Nov 2024 After breakfast, enjoy at FREE DAY in Jerusalem, In the evening, we’ll go back to Bethlehem for our Farewell Feast. Overnight in Jerusalem
FRI. 15 Nov 2024 Depart from Tel Aviv on LH 695 at 8:00 AM. Arrival in Frankfurt at 11:40 AM. Depart from Frankfurt on LH 418 at 12:50 PM/ Arrival in Dulles at 3:40 PM
