FRIDAY 17 May 24      Depart for Ireland.  Dinner and overnight on board.

SATURDAY 18 May 24    Arrival in Dublin.  After Passport Control and Customs, meet our Driver/Guide and depart for Mullingar in County Westmeath where Father will celebrate Mass in Christ the King Cathedral.  After a lunch break, enjoy a tour of Belvedere House and Gardens before continuing on Westport.  Check into hotel for 4 nights.     Castlecourt Hotel, Westport (B,D)

 SUNDAY, 19 May 24     After breakfast, we’ll drive South to Ballyheane where Father will celebrate his Anniversary Mass.  A reception will follow with family and friends.  The group will depart to the Knock Shrine and have personal time there until we return to Westport for dinner and overnight.     Castlecourt Hotel, Westport (B,D)

 MONDAY, 20 May 24     After breakfast, depart for Kylemore Abbey.  Father will say Mass and then you’ll have time to enjoy the gardens and shop.  On the return to Westport, we’ll stop at  Croagh St. Patrick, a soaring cone shaped peak rising above Clew Bay where the Irish have traditional turned for guidance and reassurance before the harvest.  It’s been a sacred site for over 3,000 years.  Return to Westport for dinner and overnight.     Castlecourt Hotel, Westport (B,D)

TUESDAY, 21 May 24    Depart Westport, we’ll drive South to Loughrea where Father will celebrate Mass at St. Brendan’s Cathedral.  Next stop Galway City known as the spiritual home of traditional Irish music.  Situated on the River Corrib where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, there’s shops and pubs, stone-clad cafes, boutiques and art galleries to enjoy.  A short city tour on arrival and then some free time to explore the city on foot.  Return to Westport and enjoy an evening cruise around Clew Bay with views of Croagh Patrick in the distance and a seal colony on one of the many islands.     Castlecourt Hotel, Westport (B,D)

 WEDNESDAY, 22 May 24    After breakfast, we depart North to Castlebar where Father will celebrate Mass  at St. Mary’s of the Visitation and then we’ll continue up past Ben Bulben Mount to Drumcliffe near Sligo and St. Columba’s Church.  Here we find the famous poet Yeat’s unassuming grave.  Take time to visit this Church of Ireland and perhaps the TeaHouse too.  We continue on to Donegal and check into our hotel for 2 nights.                                               Millpark Hotel, Donegla (B,D)

THURSDAY, 23 May 24    After breakfast, we’ll depart for a lovely drive along the Atlantic Coast, stopping at Killybegs for their 10 AM Mass and then continuing on to Slieve League where we’ll see the second-highest sea cliffs in Ireland (after Croaghaun on Achill Island).  Continue to Ardarra and visit Triona Designs.  See the master weavers at work and learn about their process.  Next a visit to Donegal Castle overlooking the river Eske, one of Ireland’s most splendid Gaelic Castles.       Millpark Hotel, Donegla (B,D)

FRIDAY, 24 May 24     After breakfast, we depart and enter Northern Ireland to visit The Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site comprising around 40,000 mostly hexagonal basalt columns descending into the sea.  The Visitor Center offers various ways to learn more about myths, legends, social history, wildlife, and conservation.  After time to enjoy this unique place, we’ll continue on to Belfast and a short city tour before checking into our hotel for dinner and overnight.    Europa Hotel, Belfast (B,D)

SATURDAY, 25 May 24     After breakfast, we depart to explore Mount Stewart Home and Gardens, a 19th Century mansion house surrounded by one of the most outstanding gardens in the world.  It is comprised of a number of individual and unique gardens, including a Shamrock Garden!  After our lunch break, we continue to Dundalk to St Brigid’s Shrine where Father will celebrate Mass and then we go to Dublin to check into our hotel for dinner and 2 overnights.     Camden Court Hotel, Dublin (B,D)

SUNDAY, 26 May 24     After breakfast, we depart for a short Dublin tour, including Mass at St.John Neuman Center.  A free afternoon to enjoy Dublin and prepare for our trip home.     Camden Court Hotel, Dublin (B)

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS for any pilgrimage is found on the website under REGISTRATION.  

For this special Irish Tour  All cancellations and request for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Tour Operator, and refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of your notice of cancellation. In addition to the airline penalties imposed and a processing fee of $750 per person by the Irish Tour Provider, the following land penalties apply to all cancellations:

These penalties are non-negotiable.
• Between 60-120 days prior to departure:  25% of tour

• Between 45-59 days prior to departure:  50% of tour

• Between 31-44 days prior to departure:  75% of tour

 • Less than 30 days to departure:  100%
