2025 – Farewell Pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan

Join Father Mullaney and Heidi on her “Farewell Pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan”.                    
 This, Heidi’s 86th pilgrimage to the Holy Land will be her last!

SUN. 2 Nov 2025          Depart USA.  Dinner and movie on board.

MON. 3 Nov 2025         Arrival in Tel Aviv.  After passport control and customs, gather with group and guide.  Depart for Mount Carmel in Haifa.  Dinner and overnight.

TUE. 4 Nov 2025         After simple breakfast, depart for Akko, visiting Crusader forts and Christian sites.  In afternoon, depart for Sepphoris to see Mary Music in floor of synagogue.  Continue to Cana where Father will celebrate Mass and we’ll renew wedding vows of couples.  Check into accommodations in Nazareth.  Dinner and overnight.

WED. 5 Nov 2025        Breakfast before departure to walk, meditate and pray in the Valley of the Doves under the Caves of the Arable overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Continue to the Franciscan property of Magdala where Father will celebrate Mass.  After included lunch, continue to  Capernaum which is Jesus’ second hometown and finish the day on the Mount of Beatitudes to pray and meditate.  Return to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

THR. 6 Nov 2025     Breakfast before departure to Mont Tabor where Father will celebrate Mass.  After lunch, take,  “the Jesus Boat”across the lake and continue to Tabgha where the loaves and fishes miracle is remembered, and the Primacy where St.Peter was restored as a leader. Return to Nazareth to visit Mary’s Well and walk back to St. Joseph’s before returning to Casa Nova for dinner and overnight.

FRI. 7 Nov 2025.   Mass at the Grotto of the Annunciation before breakfast at the hotel.  Time to visit St. Joseph’s and the Basilica before we depart the Galilee and drive West and South to visit the archeological site of Caesarea Maritime.  See the ancient aqueducts before we  go up to Bethlehem for our included lunch.  After, enter the Church of the Nativity to venerate where Jesus was born.  Continue to Shepherd’s Field  where Father will celebrate Mass.   A little time to shop, support and meet the local Christian community before we continue to Jerusalem and check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

SAT. 8 Nov 2025      After breakfast, start at the top of the Mount of Olives and walk down to the French Carmelite Convent of the Pater Noster, then continue to the Franciscan property of Domus Flevit before coming to Gethsamane.   After lunch, visit Peter in Gallicantu and David’s Tomb, the Upper Room, Dormition Abbey and the Cenacle  where Father will celebrate Mass.  Return to the hotel for dinner/overnight .

SUN 9 Nov 2025     Breakfast in hotel and depart for Ein Karim to visit the birthplace of St. John the Baptist before we climb to the Church of the Visition where Father will celebrate Mass.   After lunch, stop at the Israeli Museum for the afternoon.  Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

MON 10 Nov 2025    Father will celebrate Mass in the Tomb of Our Lord.  After breakfast, we drive to visit  the Western Wall.  Every Monday and Thursday, young Jewish boys celebrate their Bar Mitzvah at this special place.  After some time to pray at The Wall, we enter into the Temple Mount area to see the gold Dome of the Rock and learn the history of the special place revered by Jews, Moslems and Christians.  As we leave, visit the Probatic Pools at Bethesda and the crusader church of St. Anne’s (with perfect acoustics).       After lunch, pray the Via Delorosa to the Holy Sepulchre and then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

TUE 11 Nov 2025   After Mass.  Enjoy at FREE DAY in Jerusalem,  In the evening, we’ll enjoy a special Farewell Feast.  Overnight in Jerusalem

WED 12 Nov 2025.  After breakfast, we depart for Jordan by way of the Allenby Bridge.  After passport control, meet our Jordanian guide and transfer our luggage to our Jordanian bus.  Continue to Mount Nebo for Mass overlooking the Promised Land.  A lunch stop in Madaba to see the oldest map of the Mid-East before continuing to Petra for dinner and overnight.

THR 13 Nov 2025.   After breakfast, follow our guide in through the canyon to the heart of Petra and see the Treasury, plus all of the other ancient sites in this wondrous place.  Father will celebrate Mass in the Byzantine Chapel before we return to our bus and head to our hotel by the Dead Sea.

FRI 14 Nov 2025.   A relaxing day by the Dead Sea.  Enjoy floating in the salty waters of this amazing sea or by the fresh water pools of the hotel.   Before dinner, Father will celebrate our last Mass.  A quick nap before we head to the airport.

SAT 15 Nov 2025.   Midnight and our flights home with memories to Give Thanks and Remember.
